Welcome! I'm Claire... the artist and designer behind Rippling River Studio. Watercolor is my favorite art medium to work with. I love the fluidity and transparency it provides, and the unexpected results that sometimes occur. I strive to convey a feeling of serenity and peace in my watercolor paintings. Beautiful landscapes, architecture, and God's creations in nature are often the inspiration for my artwork. Another creative avenue I pursue is quilting. I am a self-taught quilter who learned how to sew and quilt by reading a book, and learning from my mistakes.
